[+] What types of caravan do you cover?
We've negotiated some of the best deals with leading insurers for both touring caravans and static caravans.
All models will be considered but there are a few that we can't cover just yet. These include Hobby, Tabbert, Roma and LMC tourers. We're always trying to provide the widest acceptance criteria so if you have specific needs, give us a call.
[+] Are there any restrictions on where I can keep my caravan?
Cover is available at normal terms for touring caravans kept at home, on a registered caravan site or in a dedicated caravan compound.
However, we understand that this is not always possible. With a little extra information, we'll consider any location provided that it is secure and does not increase the risk of theft or damage significantly.
[+] Are there any onerous security clauses in your caravan policy?
Nothing more than would be expected. For example, we require that touring caravans are secured with a wheel clamp and hitch lock when left unattended.
For higher value caravans, depending on storage location, we may ask for additional security measures such as proprietary alarm system.
[+] I keep my caravan on a CaSSOA registered site - will this bring my premium down?
Absolutely. We work in partnership with CaSSOA and recognise the standard of security on these sites.
Whether a bronze, silver or gold CaSSOA site, we'll give generous discounts to reflect the reduced theft risk. We'll also remove some security requirements.
