A Short Trip to Mythical Mid-Wales
Take a trip to mid-Wales and enjoy spectacular scenery and the flourishing countryside to truly escape the daily city life. The Brecon Beacons National Park offers the highest point in Southern Britain through Pen-Y-Fan accompanied by a varied and rugged landscape. At the Brecon Beacons there are a plethora of activities to take part in, from extreme kayaking over jaw dropping waterfalls to Mountain biking in some of the best terrain in Wales there are lots of extreme activities to sink your teeth into. The park offers a beautiful escape for those who want a more relaxing trip, with plenty of cycle routes and the 18 hole Cradoc golf course which provides the stunning panoramic backdrop of the national park.

A Weekend Amongst the Colossal Cairngorms
The breath-taking Cairngorms offer a varied and rugged landscape of tundra-like wilds, magnificent mountain ranges and the free-flowing rivers of Spey and Dee that encircle it all. There is plenty to do around the cairngorms aside from hiking, the gorgeous scenery can be viewed from the mountain railway, and you can visit spectacular castles such as Braemar, Balmoral and Blair. We’d also recommend The Braemar Gathering, an event that showcases the highland games, it occurs annually on the first Saturday of September. There are also some fantastic museums such as the Grantown Museum and the Highland Folk Museum. Spend Some Time in the Charming Cheddar Gorge
Truly immerse yourself in the stunning English countryside with the jewel of the South West. The Cheddar Gorge began forming around a million years ago and is England’s largest gorge at almost three miles in length and 400 feet in depth. Not only can you enjoy the spectacular natural sites of the Gorge’s weathered crags and pinnacles, but underneath it all is the eerie mysterious chambers of Goughs Cave, home of the famous Cheddar Man and plenty of prehistoric history. Nearby to the gorge is The Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company where you can sample the famous Cheddar cheese, with much of it being aged in the Cheddar Gorge itself. The Cheddar Gorge is Just a 30 minute drive from Greenacres Camping site.
A Weekend in the Lavish Lincolnshire Wolds
Enjoy the relaxing retreat of the crisp English countryside with a visit to the Lincolnshire Wolds. The Wolds formation began around 150 million years ago but was later shaped by glaciers which left the smooth-edged hilly landscape that we know and cherish today. Not only does the Lincolnshire Wolds offers gorgeous views of gentle streams, hidden valleys and nestling villages, it also provides a spectacular view of the Pennines to the West and the coastline to the East, as it stands tall as the highest land in Eastern England. There is plenty to do around the Lincolnshire Wolds, the area of Tattershall boasts wakeboarding in the country park as well as the Tattershall Farm Park and the awe inspiring Tattershall castle. You can also visit the seals at Donna Nook or spectate one of the many motorsport events at Cadwell Park.
