Road Warrior is a brilliant app for any courier as it allows you to enter all your stops and it will automatically optimise your route to be the fastest it can be. It’s simple to use and you can use it to shave valuable minutes off your deliveries throughout the day.

If you know your drop off points in advance, you can plot your route the night before giving you a chance to work around your lifestyle. It can also save you money on fuel by cutting out unnecessary miles in between drop-offs.

The app is available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

The current free version of this app allows you to plot up to 8 stops and optimize the route, however, if you pay a subscription fee of $5 a month or $50 for the year, you can get unlimited stops and more address searches per day.

With this app, you can plan ahead when parking and factor in any extra time you may need for walking to the drop off point. This can save you valuable time throughout the day.

It’s available to download on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. You can also access it via desktop at https://en.parkopedia.com/.

If you’re on the road a lot like most couriers, you’ll know the prices of fuel can vary by quite a bit depending on where you are. With this useful app, you can find the cheapest fuel prices near to you throughout the UK, saving you money instantly and in the long run!

You can use this great app to keep an eye on the fuel prices and even see what the fuel stations have been reviewed by other users. If you’re a user of a fuel card or loyalty cards like Nectar, BP or Shell, then you can work out which petrol stations on your route will allow you to collect reward points.

The PetrolPrices app is available to download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

If you’re one of the few courier drivers who have made the switch to an electric vehicle, this app is perfect for you. You can quickly find the nearest electric vehicle charging points closest to you and how much they charge. It can be a real lifesaver when you’re running low on charge in the middle of your deliveries for the day.

If you like to be more prepared, then you can work out where you will need to stop and charge along your route in advance and add it to your drop off route as a reminder. You wouldn’t want to run out of charge on the motorway and have to call out a breakdown insurance provider.

It’s available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. You can also get it on desktop too (https://www.zap-map.com) so you can plan your recharge to fit in with your deliveries.

Are there any apps you think should be added to this list? Let us know on Facebook and Twitter.
